Wine Wednesday

Wine Wednesday is back at Videri Chocolate Factory on Wednesday, October 14. It's part of a series they run every other Wednesday, which kicked off back on June 22, so this is one of several dates they've got on the calendar throughout the season. The whole thing is built around pairing wine with chocolate, and the selections change with each visit, so if you've been before, you'll be working through a different set this time around.

Each class pairs three wines with an assortment of the factory's seasonal bonbons and luxurious chocolate bars. The bonbons are made in-house, and since they're seasonal, the flavors shift along with the time of year. You'll get to taste three different wines alongside them, and the pairing is the main event—you're tasting the wine and the chocolate together rather than separately. Videri describes Wine Wednesday as their way of celebrating making it halfway through the week, and the format fits that: it's a mid-week evening focused on a few good pours and a spread of chocolate.

Because the series runs every other Wednesday, it's easy to drop in for one night or make a habit of it. The pairings change every time, so you can come back for a different combination without repeating yourself.
