Stand-up comedy special event with Jake Cornell, a comedian from Brooklyn touring across America.
Jake Cornell is playing Goodnights Comedy Club on Thursday, December 17, at 7:30 PM. He's a stand-up comedian based in Brooklyn, New York, and this is one of his stops on a tour that's taking him across the country.
If you haven't come across him yet, Cornell has built a following of hundreds of thousands online. He sold out Joe's Pub with his hour, Hey Big Guy, and has been touring the US since then, playing cities like Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, Seattle, and Los Angeles. He also recently wrapped up his first-ever UK tour, which ended with a sold-out show in London. His work has been featured in The Cut, New York Magazine, and Vogue.
Before he got into comedy, he spent ten years working as a cocktail bartender in the UK and New York City—the kind of background that usually provides plenty of material for a stand-up. That's the Brooklyn-based comic you'll see on stage: a guy who spent a decade behind a bar before moving into the spotlight.
