A meditative session of deep relaxation and inner peace using ethereal tones and harmonious vibrations to soothe the mind, body and soul.
Jana Campbell leads a sound bath at The Chapel on Sunday, October 25, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM. It's a meditative session of deep relaxation and inner peace, built around ethereal tones and harmonious vibrations that are meant to soothe the mind, body, and soul, release tension, and restore balance. The whole thing is a slow, restorative hour and a half spent lying or sitting in stillness.
Because you'll be staying in one spot for ninety minutes, there's a practical side to consider: you're encouraged to bring whatever you need to be comfortable on a hard surface for that long. Pillows, blankets, or a thick yoga mat are the kinds of things that make a difference when you're settling in for the afternoon.

The session takes place at the Greg Poole, Jr. All Faiths Chapel, 1030 Richardson Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603. It's free to the public, thanks to Dix Park Conservancy donors, but registration is required and spots are limited. That registration opens two weeks in advance at 12 PM, so if you're planning to go, you'll want to be ready when that window opens. The session runs from 2 PM to 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 25.
