A ghost tour through the haunted history of the downtown Sip n' Stroll district, with adult beverages available.
Raleigh Walking Tours is running the Sip n' Stroll Raleigh Ghost Tour on Thursday, October 22, starting in the alley next to DICED Salads, Wraps & Bowls at 121 Fayetteville St., Suite 108. It's part of their Ghost & True Crime Tours collection, and they bill it as the only ghost tour in the city that takes place entirely within the downtown Sip n' Stroll district. The walk is less than half a mile long, so it's a short one that keeps you right in the heart of downtown.
Along the way, the tour leads you through Raleigh's haunted history, past historic sites, and finally to the building said to be the most haunted in the city. It's a ghost tour through the district's haunted locations, and as the name suggests, adult beverages are part of the experience. But it's not a pub crawl: you won't be stopping for drinks along the route, and you can't bring your own alcohol. If you're under 21, you're still welcome to join in without a drink.

Advance registration is required, and there's a practical detail to keep in mind: the tour needs a minimum number of sign-ups to run on weeknights and Sundays. If that minimum isn't met, the tour may be cancelled. They'll send a confirmation or cancellation email no later than 24 hours before the start, so keep an eye on your inbox. The whole thing runs about an hour and ten minutes, starting from the alley next to DICED at 121 Fayetteville St., Suite 108.
