Stand-up comedy show with Yvette Segan at Goodnights Comedy Club.
Yvette Segan plays Goodnights Comedy Club on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 8 PM. She's a New York City comedian, actor, writer, and producer who tours stand-up worldwide, and this is her Raleigh stop.
If you haven't come across her yet, Segan is a big name in the New York scene. She headlined the New York Comedy Festival in both 2024 and 2025, and she's played rooms like Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco, The Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles, Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia, and Don't Tell in Washington, DC. Her style is sarcastic, dark comedy, and she's built a following of over 500,000 across platforms. Her videos have been picked up by Buzzfeed, Betches, New Yorkers, and Barstool, and she co-created and stars in the web series Run Club.
Beyond the stand-up, there's a fair bit of acting and writing in her background. She holds a BA in Drama from Vassar College and a Certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), so she's as comfortable with a script as she is with a microphone. That theatrical training often comes through in the way comedians approach a room, and it's part of why she works as well on a stage as she does in a short video.
