Room 861 at Goodnights: Jay Legend

Jay Legend is headlining Goodnights Comedy Club on Tuesday, October 13, in Room 861. The show starts at 8 PM.

Legend is a Chicago-born stand-up who's spent the last few years working his way up through the comedy scenes in south Florida and Texas. He's built a reputation for an energetic, charismatic style, and the competition circuit has been a big part of that climb. He's won multiple Coastal Creative Competitions, took home the 2020 Side Splitters New Face title, and came in second in Florida's Funniest Comedian, where he beat out more than 130 other comics.

If you follow the current comedy landscape, you've probably seen him in a different context. He's a regular and a door guy at Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership in Austin, and he's made several viral appearances on Kill Tony. He's also shared the stage with Shane Gillis, Ron White, Mike Epps, Jamie Kennedy, and Preacher Lawson.

Room 861 is an 18+ room, so you'll need to be at least 18 to get in. There's a mix of general admission and reserved seating, and the showroom has a two-item minimum, so plan on grabbing a couple of drinks or snacks while you're there. The show is at 401 Woodburn Rd, Raleigh, NC 27605, starting at 8 PM on Tuesday, October 13.
