Francisco Ramos is playing Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh on November 11 and 12, with the two nights split by language: the November 11 show is in Spanish and the November 12 show is in English. If you're bilingual, you can catch him twice; otherwise, pick the night that works for you.

Most people recognize Ramos from the screen. He played Felix, a recurring character on the Netflix series Gentefied, and has popped up in Shameless, Angie Tribeca, and Netflix's Lady Dynamite. He's also done voice work, voicing King Marmoset in the animated film Rio and a character in Cartoon Network's Victor & Valentino. On the stand-up side, he was a top-ten finalist on Last Comic Standing, a run that has kept him touring across North America. HBO gave him a stand-up special for Entre Nos, and his debut album, Vayalo, has played exclusively on Sirius XM and reached the top five of the Billboard Comedy Charts.

His reputation comes from a warm, energetic style, and he's often talked about as one of the up-and-coming comics of his generation. The early years gave him a few distinct markers: he was one of 12 chosen from 5,000 applicants for the CBS Multicultural Diversity Showcase and took first place at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. That win prompted Latino Out Loud to make a documentary about his rise.
