Monthly open mic night for singers, musicians, comedians, poets and jugglers at The Green Room.
Open Mic Night is back at The Green Room on Sunday, November 15, from 7 PM to 9:30 PM. The Green Room is the space across from the main building of the Theatre Raleigh Art Center, located at 3031 Barrow Dr in Raleigh.
It's a monthly fixture, and while it was built around singers and musicians, it welcomes performers of all kinds. That means comedians, poets, and jugglers are just as welcome as the singers. Each spot is five minutes long, and you can bring sheet music for the accompanist or an instrument to play. One thing to keep in mind: performing to a track isn't permitted, so you'll be playing live or singing with the accompaniment.

Sign-ups happen in person on the night, first come first served. Priority goes to anyone who didn't perform the previous month, so if you've been sitting on the sidelines for a while, you'll be toward the front of the line. If you're just coming to watch, it's free to attend; it costs $5 to participate if you're taking the stage. The night runs from 7 PM to 9:30 PM at The Green Room, across from Theatre Raleigh's main building at 3031 Barrow Dr.
