A trivia night hosted by Nubiologist Caroline Rocheleau in conjunction with the North Carolina Museum of Art's 'Ancient Nubia' exhibition, with food and drinks available for purchase.
Nubia Trivia comes to Trophy Maywood on Friday, November 6, at 7 PM. It's a trivia night led by Caroline Rocheleau, a Nubiologist and Curator of Ancient Collections, and it's tied to the North Carolina Museum of Art's exhibition Ancient Nubia: Excavating Treasures of the Nile, which runs through January 10, 2027.
That exhibition puts the Kingdom of Kush, a major civilization of the Middle Nile Valley, in the spotlight. It draws on materials excavated by the Harvard University - Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition more than a century ago, and it covers the kingdom's three main historical periods—nearly 3,000 years—and its relationship with pharaonic Egypt. Rocheleau is the museum's own Nubiologist, and she's featured in a special display that sets recently donated Egyptian objects alongside Nubian ones as comparatives. The trivia night is a companion to all that, so if you've spent any time with the show, you'll have a head start on the questions.

General admission is free, and you can buy food and drinks at the venue while you play. It starts at 7 PM on Friday, November 6.
