Weekly Sunday experience featuring live DJ sets, food from 20+ vendors, and drink specials at Morgan Street Food Hall.
Morgan Street Sessions is a weekly Sunday afternoon at Morgan Street Food Hall, 411 W Morgan St, in downtown Raleigh. It runs every Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM, and the organizers pitch it as a new Sunday tradition for the city.
The afternoon is built around live DJ sets from some of the area's favorite local DJs and artists, with the music leaning toward feel-good house. The whole thing is meant to be an easy-going, high-energy way to spend a Sunday, with cocktails and sunshine as part of the mix. It's a recurring thing rather than a one-off, so if you miss one, there's another the following week.
Since it's at the food hall, you've got more than 20 vendors to choose from for lunch, and they run drink specials alongside the musicโAperol Spritzes, Mimosa Buckets, Sun Cruisers, and Malibu Pink Shooters. You can grab a drink and a bite and just hang out for the afternoon, or come in for a few hours and head home. Entry is free, so you only pay for what you eat and drink.
