16th Annual Korktoberfest sale and fundraiser with free wine tastings, food, and shopping at The Raleigh Wine Shop, with Chef Jake Wolf in the kitchen.
The Raleigh Wine Shop is hosting its Korktoberfest Day Party on Saturday, October 10, from 1 PM to 7 PM. It's the centerpiece of the shop's 16th Annual Korktoberfest Sale & Fundraiser, which runs from Monday, October 5, through Sunday, October 11. The party brings together free wine tastings, food, and shopping in one afternoon, and a portion of the proceeds from both the sale and the party goes to Meals on Wheels of Wake County.
On the food side, Chef Jake Wolf of Capital Club 16 will be in the kitchen from 1 PM to 5 PM, so if you're planning to spend a few hours there, you'll want to arrive on the earlier side to catch him. The rest of the afternoon is open for tasting and browsing through the shop's curated selection of wine and specialty provisions. If you've been meaning to stock up, the sale runs all week, with wine up to 25% off both in-store and online from October 5 to 11.
