Stand-up comedy show with James Murray, known as Murr from Impractical Jokers, performing live at Goodnights Comedy Club.
James Murray is playing Goodnights Comedy Club on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31. Most of you know him as Murr, one of the four stars of Impractical Jokers on TBS, and he's bringing his stand-up show to Raleigh for two nights.
If you've only seen him on the show, there's a bit more to the guy than the pranks. He's a writer and executive producer, and he's spent over a decade as Senior Vice President of Development at NorthSouth Productions. He also runs Impractical Productions, LLC, and has written two international bestsellers, Awakened and The Brink. He's a Staten Island native now living in Princeton, New Jersey, and he's been part of the comedy troupe The Tenderloins since before the Jokers took off.
The show itself is called Murr Live, and it's billed as an interactive stand-up set. He tells stories, shows never-before-seen videos from Impractical Jokers, and plays the show's prank format live with the audience, so you're part of the act rather than just watching it. It's a good fit for the club's vibe.
