A night for educators to connect with their community, enjoy refreshments, and learn about NCMA programs and resources.
The North Carolina Museum of Art is hosting its Educator Expo on Tuesday, October 27, from 4 PM to 7 PM in the West Building. It's a night specifically for museum educators to connect with their community, grab some refreshments, and get a closer look at the museum's programs and resources. Between the networking and the info, there's plenty of time to wander through the galleries on your own.
The museum frames the expo as part of its broader commitment to the state's K-12 professional development network. They describe the contributions they gather there as supporting their ability to activate the Peoples Collection through innovative programs and to keep experiences like this accessible to everyone. It's a good way to see how the museum's educational work fits into the larger picture of what they do for schools across the state.
