Il Falò is running the Aperitivo Experience on its patio in Raleigh, and it's a recurring thing rather than a one-off: it runs Sunday through Wednesday, 4 PM to 8 PM, now through May 31. The restaurant bills it as the Italian version of happy hour, designed to awaken the appetite for the evening.
For $18 per person, you get three special cocktails paired with a small salumi plate. The plate features Italian salumi shaved to order, local and imported cheeses, wood-grilled crostini, and other accoutrements. It's a set deal—the drinks and the board come together—so you don't have to piece it together yourself.
