26th Annual Evening of Pawsibilities

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is hosting its 26th Annual Evening of Pawsibilities on Saturday, October 10, at the North Ridge Country Club in North Raleigh. It's a fundraising gala, and the money goes toward the organization's lifesaving programs for homeless animals. If you've spent any time around the local rescue scene, you know how much that work depends on nights like this.

The evening is built around food and cocktails, with silent and live auctions running throughout. There are wine and bourbon pulls, and a $2,500 VISA raffle. Between the drinks and the bidding, you'll find plenty of chances to put some money toward the cause. It's the kind of night where the food and the fundraising happen side by side, so you can spend as much time as you like on either.

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is the organization behind the whole thing, and the gala is their big annual push to keep their programs running. The proceeds go directly to the care and placement of homeless animals, so every ticket and every winning bid makes a difference for the animals they take in.

The gala runs from 6 PM to 10 PM at the North Ridge Country Club, 6612 Falls of Neuse Rd., North Raleigh, NC 27615. Individual tickets are $150.
