Fort Purbrook is a Victorian fort built in the late 19th century as part of a range of defensive features along Portsdown Hill to protect the Portsmouth naval base. Today, it is operated by the Peter Ashley Activity Centres, a registered charity providing a wide range of outdoor sports, adventure activities, and community events.
