The season finale of the UKOPRA Offshore Powerboat Championship, featuring around 30 teams competing in four classes on an 80-mile circuit in the Solent, with an after-party at The Spinnaker Kitchen.
UKOPRA brings the Gunwharf Quays Grand Prix to Gunwharf Quays Marina on Saturday 19 September, the fifth round and the season finale of the UKOPRA Offshore Powerboat Championship. It's the one that decides the titles and crowns the champions, so there's a bit more on the line here than at the earlier rounds. For the weekend, the championship takes exclusive occupation of Gunwharf Marina, with the Spinnaker Tower and the Gunwharf Quays waterfront as its backdrop.
Around 30 teams will compete across four classes on an 80-mile circuit in the Solent. This finale introduces an all-new offshore course designed to test crews and machinery while showcasing the coastlines of Hampshire and West Sussex, so it's a different challenge from the previous rounds. UKOPRA, the UK's premier offshore powerboat racing championship, has been racing across the South Coast of England since 2017.

When the racing finishes, the 'Parc Fermé After Dark' after-party takes over The Spinnaker Kitchen exclusively, with food, live music and dancing as the 2026 champions are crowned. The racing is on Saturday 19 September at Gunwharf Quays Marina in Portsmouth.
