A tribute show presented by Xperience Live, featuring a world-class vocalist recreating Adele's greatest hits in a candlelit cathedral setting.
The Music of Adele comes to Portsmouth Cathedral on Thursday 22 October, a tribute show presented by Xperience Live. It's not Adele herself — the production isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to her — but a celebration of her music performed by a world-class vocalist backed by a live band. The vocalist taking the lead is Naomi Johnson, a former The Voice finalist, who'll be recreating some of Adele's most popular work.
The set draws from her greatest hits, with 'Someone Like You', 'Rolling in the Deep', 'Hello', 'Set Fire to the Rain', 'Make You Feel My Love' and 'When We Were Young' among the songs on the bill, and many more alongside them. It's a broad run through her catalogue, so you'll hear the big ballads and the more upbeat numbers together. The whole thing is set around a sea of candles, which gives the evening a specific look and feel.
