Wayne Dilks brings his George Michael tribute, The George Michael Legacy, to Kings Theatre on Saturday 12 September, with the show starting at 7:30pm. He's performing with his own band, and together they run through George Michael's 35-year career, from the early Wham! days right through to his final album, Symphonica. It's a long set — about two and a half hours — so it covers a lot of ground across those three and a half decades.
Dilks is an international tribute artist who's spent more than 20 years focusing his career on George Michael. He was the frontman and producer of the tribute shows Faith (2017-2018) and Freedom!, and he returned in 2024 with this new production, which has picked up five-star reviews nationwide. The setlist pulls from the whole timeline: the early pop of Wham!, the solo hits of the eighties and nineties, and the later, more orchestral work of Symphonica.

Tickets start from £22, and if you're bringing a group of ten or more, you can get £5 off per person. The show runs for around two hours and 30 minutes, so it's a full evening's worth of music. It's at Kings Theatre in Portsmouth on Saturday 12 September, starting at 7:30pm.
