Supergrass close their nine-date 2027 tour at Portsmouth Guildhall, playing hits and deep cuts from their extensive catalogue.
Supergrass are playing Portsmouth Guildhall on Wednesday 12 May 2027, the final date of their nine-show UK tour. It's their first headline run in the country since the 2025 tour for the 30th anniversary of I Should Coco, and this one is a bit different. Frontman Gaz Coombes said that last tour was all about one record, so these shows will be raiding the back catalogue for hits and deep cuts.
If you're not fully up on them, Supergrass are Britpop-punkers who burst onto the indie scene in the mid-nineties and became one of the country's best-loved bands. They've put out six studio albums since their 1993 debut I Should Coco, and their songs include 'Alright', 'Caught By The Fuzz', 'Mansize Rooster', 'Lenny', 'Going Out', 'Richard III', 'Sun Hits The Sky', 'Pumping On Your Stereo', 'Moving' and 'Grace'. They split in 2010 and announced their return in 2019, on a mission to 'bring joy into a slightly disturbed world'.
