Student Night - Silent Disco

Portsmouth Guildhall is hosting a student night on Tuesday 22 September, with a silent disco taking over The Len Studio from 8.00pm. It's a student-only event, and the whole thing is built around the silent disco format: you grab a pair of LED headphones and pick your own soundtrack from three different channels. There's RnB & Hip Hop, Cheesy Pop and Indie Rock, and you can switch between them on the fly, so you're not stuck with one vibe for the night.

Because it's a silent disco, the music stays in your headphones rather than filling the room, which means you can swap channels whenever you fancy a change of pace. If you're into the RnB and Hip Hop, you can stick with that, or flip over to the Cheesy Pop for a bit of a singalong, then jump across to the Indie Rock when the mood shifts. You can move between all three throughout the evening, so you're in charge of what you're hearing.

There are a few things to keep in mind before you head down. Entry is for over-18s only, and you'll need to show a student ID and a valid form of identification at the door — a passport, driving licence or PASS card will do. Every ticket comes with a free drink, and there's discounted parking available if you're driving in. Tickets are £5, for students only, and it kicks off at 8.00pm on Tuesday 22 September at The Len Studio in Portsmouth Guildhall.
