Stamshaw Community Centre Summer Fair

The Stamshaw Community Centre Summer Fair is on this Saturday, 22 August, at the Stamshaw and Tipner Community Centre in Portsmouth. It's one of those proper local fairs that pulls together a few different things under one roof, so you can drift between the stalls and the more active bits throughout the day.

There's a good mix of things to do. You'll find stalls to browse, and for something a bit louder, there's live wrestling and martial arts demonstrations. If you're in the mood for something slower, there's bingo and an animal cuddle corner for the smaller ones. It's the kind of afternoon where you can spend as much or as little time as you like, hopping from the stalls to the ring and back again.

It's a community centre fair, so it's built for families and people from around the neighbourhood. It kicks off at 11:00 at the Stamshaw and Tipner Community Centre, 69 Wilson Road, PO2 8LE, and entry is free.
