Live concert featuring a 7-piece band performing 90s dance and rave classics.
Rhythm of the 90s play the Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday 5 September 2026. They're a seven-piece band that does 90s dance music live, and the whole thing is played without backing tracks, so you're hearing everything coming off the stage. They describe it as a 90s rave experience, and they bring the lasers with them.
The setlist pulls from the dance hits of that decade, with Darude, The Prodigy, Sash, Faithless, Haddaway, Robin S, Corona, Baby D and N-Trance all in the mix. It's a long one, too – the music can run up to two hours, so there's plenty of ground covered.
As a band, they call themselves the UK's number one 90s dance cover band. They've played Glastonbury, Victorious, Love Saves The Day, Latitude, Y NOT, Truck and Hamburg Pride, and they've picked up a fair few five-star reviews along the way. One from Glastonbury called them their favourite act of the festival by far; another described them as possibly the best covers band in the world.
