A free community festival with a Unity Gathering, Pride Market Village, workshops and a collaboration with DragJam UK.
Portsmouth Pride Community Festival takes over The Guildhall on Saturday 10 October, a free day that brings back the Pride celebrations the city missed out on earlier this year. The original Portsmouth Pride was cancelled in early June when the weather turned, so this fills that gap with a full day of things to do rather than a single event.
The day starts out in Guildhall Square before moving inside The Guildhall, and it's built around a few different things running at once. There's a Unity Gathering, and the Pride Market Village returns with market traders, charities and community groups all side by side. Throughout the day, there are workshops, talks and activities to drop into, and a collaboration with DragJam UK.

Because it's a community festival, you can pick your own pace: spend the morning browsing the market, stick around for the talks and workshops, or just come for the Unity Gathering. It's a free event, so you don't need to worry about tickets or booking ahead. The whole thing runs on Saturday 10 October, starting in Guildhall Square and moving inside The Guildhall as the day goes on.
