A 90-minute country music show recreating the Nashville honky tonk experience, featuring modern and classic country hits led by Maria Jordan.
Maria Jordan brings One Night in Nashville to Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 18 September, a show that aims to recreate the atmosphere of Nashville's honky tonks right here in the city. Jordan leads the night, backed by a band of multi-instrumentalists, songwriters and musicians from the British country scene. The whole thing is built around bringing that Nashville sound to the UK, and it's a well-travelled one: over 150,000 people have seen it, with stops at Royal Ascot, Kendal Calling, Summer In Nashville Dubai, Country On The Common and Manchester's Albert Hall.

The set runs for 90 minutes and works its way through modern and classic country. You'll hear names like Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Zac Brown Band, Maren Morris, Morgan Wallen, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, alongside tributes to Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell and Kenny Rogers. Jordan's own original music is mixed in too. If you want a sense of what it sounds like, there's a live album, One Night In Nashville Live At Marble Factory, Bristol, which came out on 17 July 2025.
It's an all-ages show, though it's aimed at the newer generation of country fans, and there's a 14+ age restriction. Doors open at 19:30, and tickets are £32, which includes a 17% booking fee. A few house rules to keep in mind: no cameras or tablets, and no outside food or drink unless you need it for medical reasons. There's discounted parking available online or at the box office.
