An interactive cocktail party where guests solve a murder mystery without acting, featuring a welcome cocktail and a food van.
The Portsmouth Distillery is hosting a Murder Mystery Night on Friday 7 August, from 6:30pm to 11:00pm. The whole thing is set up as an exclusive cocktail party thrown by the distillery to celebrate the launch of one of its brand-new cocktails. It starts as a night of drinks, laughter and celebration, but that takes a deadly turn when a shocking murder rocks the party. From there, the guests work together to follow the clues, uncover hidden secrets and identify the culprit.
One thing that's worth knowing is that no acting is required of the attendees. You don't need to prepare a character or deliver lines; you're just asked to bring your curiosity, your instincts and a keen eye for detail. The distillery is set in a historic venue with gravel and uneven surfaces, so comfortable, practical footwear is recommended. It's an over-18s event, and a food van will be on site throughout the night if you fancy something to eat. Parking is free.
