Michael Ball - Glow UK Tour 2026

Michael Ball brings his Glow UK Tour 2026 to Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 2 October. He's one of Britain's most recognisable musical theatre voices, and this is a proper concert night rather than a staged production.

If you've only ever known him from the radio or the TV, it's worth having the full picture. He's a double Olivier Award winner and a Grammy nominee, and over forty years he's worked across the West End and Broadway. He won the Olivier for Best Actor in a Musical for both Sweeney Todd and Hairspray, and he created the role of Marius in the original West End cast of Les Misérables. He's also a familiar face on the screen, with his own show on BBC Radio 2 and The Michael Ball Show on ITV1.

Beyond the theatre, he's sold millions of albums. In 2007 he made history with the first solo concert by a musical theatre star at the BBC Proms, and he's spent years collaborating with his close friend Alfie Boe — their album Together was the UK's best-selling album of 2016. More recently, he released We Are More Than One in 2021, and he's moved into writing, with the Sunday Times bestseller The Empire and his memoir Different Aspects.
