Jack Savoretti performs live at the Portsmouth Guildhall, celebrating 20 years since his debut album with his ninth studio album 'We Will Always Be the Way We Were'.
Jack Savoretti plays Portsmouth Guildhall on Thursday 22 October, his first ever date at the venue. It's billed as a celebration of twenty years since his debut album, so it's a bit of a milestone show rather than just another tour stop.
Savoretti's music sits in that soulful, intimate folk-pop territory, delivered in a husky voice with a Mediterranean flavour and held together by warm storytelling between the songs. He's released eight studio albums to date, including two UK number ones and four more in the top ten, and has collaborated with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Nile Rodgers, Bob Dylan and Shania Twain. The night is framed around his ninth studio album, We Will Always Be the Way We Were, which came out on 10 April 2026. He describes it as a confessional return to himself after the concept albums Europiana and Miss Italia. Recorded back in Notting Hill where it all started, he calls it a closure and a summary of his career.

The Guildhall's historic auditorium and tiered seating suit his style, and he draws a devoted south-coast audience that sings along. Doors open at 7pm, with The Square Kitchen and Bars open from 6.15pm if you want to get in early. Tickets are £26.15 to £72.95, which includes a 17% booking fee.
