A design market where maker-artists from south England showcase their works in outdoor stalls, with resident artists opening their studios to visitors.
Hotwalls Studios are hosting their summer Creative Markets on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June, the second of three outdoor markets they've got lined up for 2026. It's a double-header that runs from 10:00 to 16:00 both days, so you can pop in for a quick look on the Saturday or spend a proper afternoon there on the Sunday.

The setup is two-fold. Out in the open, designer-makers from across the south of England set up in 3x3m pavilions to show their work. Those stalls usually bring more than just the art — you'll find live music, food, and demonstrations running alongside the browsing. While the market is happening outside, the resident artists at Hotwalls open their studios to visitors, so you can step inside and see where the work actually gets made.
If you're planning to spend a while, there's a restaurant on-site called The Canteen, which is handy if you want to grab something to eat between the stalls and the studios. It's a family-friendly atmosphere, so it works as well for a wander with the kids as it does for anyone with a genuine interest in art, design, and handmade work.
Entry is free, and the only thing you'll be spending is on whatever you pick up from the stalls. The studios are at Point Battery & Barracks, Broad Street, Old Portsmouth, PO1 2FS, and the whole thing runs from 10:00 to 16:00 on both 27 and 28 June.
