Girls Skate Night

Girls Skate Night is back at Pitt St. Skatepark this Monday 27 July, running from 19:00 to 22:00. It's a session for girls and women of all ages and abilities, so it doesn't matter if you've never stepped on a board before or you've been skating for years.

The night is run by the skatepark itself, which describes the space as inclusive and welcoming for girls and women. The sessions are built around a supportive environment where socialising and making new friends are just as much a part of the evening as the skating. It's as much about the people you meet as the tricks you land, so it's a good spot if you're looking for a community to skate with rather than just a place to roll around on your own.

It's also part of a wider programme of youth and summer activities at the park, alongside things like a Kids Summer Holiday Wheeled Disco and bootcamp sessions, so it's one of several things they've got going on throughout the season. The session runs on the last Monday of each month, from 26 January through to 28 December 2026, so if you can't make this one, there's another one coming up later in the year.

Booking isn't necessary, though you can prebook through the venue's website if you'd rather have your spot sorted in advance. It's £10 for the session, and you'll find them at Pitt St. Skatepark, 315 Commercial Road, Portsmouth PO1 4BS, from 19:00 to 22:00.
