Cocktails and Connect Networking Event

Cocktails & Connect returns to Portsmouth Guildhall on Tuesday 15 September, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. It's a networking event, but the organisers describe it as not your typical one, and this edition leans into a summer vibe with cocktails, nibbles and plenty of fun, presented as the venue's Summer Social.

If you're not usually one for networking, the format here is more about the social side than the hard sell. The cocktails and nibbles are the main draw, and the whole thing is billed as a summer social rather than a formal business mixer. It's a late-afternoon slot, so it works as a way to wind down the working day and meet people across the city without it taking up your whole evening.

There's a charitable side to it too: 50% of ticket proceeds go to BASE, a charitable aim of the Guildhall Trust. So, your ticket does a bit more than just get you in the door.

If you want to make a proper afternoon of it, you can add a dining or hospitality package and pre-order your drinks. There's also discounted parking available. A couple of house rules to keep in mind: no cameras or tablets are allowed inside, and you can't bring in your own food or drink, unless it's for medical needs. Tickets are £10 per person, and the event runs from 4.00pm to 6.00pm on Tuesday 15 September at Portsmouth Guildhall.
