Charity evening with Portsmouth FC legends Paul Walsh and Guy Whittingham, featuring a three-course meal, Q&A and interview, supporting Pompey in the Community.
Paul Walsh and Guy Whittingham are hosting a charity evening at Ottoman Kitchen on Wednesday 22 July, with all the proceeds going to Pompey in the Community. It's a night built around two of the most recognisable names in Portsmouth FC history, and the format is straightforward: a three-course meal followed by an interview with the two of them, then a Q&A where you can ask your own questions. A spokesperson for the restaurant described it as an evening of football stories, memories and fundraising.

If you're not fully across their records, it helps to know how they fit together. Walsh and Whittingham formed a formidable partnership on the pitch, and both are long-time favourites with the Fratton faithful. Whittingham scored 115 goals in 226 appearances across three different spells at the club, while Walsh made 110 appearances and scored 23 goals over two. Between them, they represent a huge chunk of the club's history, so there's plenty of ground to cover when it comes to those stories and memories.
The night is in support of Pompey in the Community, the official charity of Portsmouth FC, which runs projects and programmes across the local community. That's where the money goes, so it's a bit more than just a dinner with two legends.
It kicks off at 18:00 at Ottoman Kitchen on London Road in North End. Tickets are ยฃ35 and you can book them through the restaurant's website, https://ottomankitchenportsmouth.co.uk/.
