Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert

Avatar: The Last Airbender comes to Portsmouth Guildhall on Thursday 15 October, part of a tour marking 20 years of the series. It's a live orchestral performance of the soundtrack paired with a two-hour visual journey through all three seasons projected onto a full-size cinema screen.

The original dialogue and sound effects are kept, but the recorded score is replaced by a live orchestra playing the music of Emmy Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, who wrote the original score. The orchestra plays in sync with the action on screen, so the music hits exactly when it's supposed to. Zuckerman's arrangements were expanded in collaboration with original series editor Jeff Adams, and the tour adds a few inspired additions and celebratory touches to mark the milestone.

There's a VIP package available, which gets you in 30 minutes before the doors open, a priority merchandise line, a commemorative laminate and lanyard, and an exclusive VIP merchandise bundle. The show is recommended for ages 12 and over, and no cameras or tablets are allowed inside.

Doors open at 7.00pm, with The Square Kitchen and Bars open from 6.15pm if you want to grab a drink first. Tickets range from £40.80 to £87.60, and that price includes a 17% booking fee.
