4ft Fingers + Slackrr + Local Support

4ft Fingers play Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 16 October, with support from Slackrr and Everyone Lies. The Cheltenham band has been at it since the late 1990s, and they've built their sound on The Clash, The Damned and Snuff N o x — three names that place them firmly in the punk tradition. Over the decades, Kerrang!, Big Cheese and a following of DIY punk fanzines have called them 'the hardest working punk rock band', a title they've lived up to across years of touring.

There's new material to hear, too. They recently released their first full-length album since 2008, so this is their first run of shows with a new record behind them in nearly two decades. Between that and the support from Slackrr and Everyone Lies, the night is a full bill of punk rather than a single band with a couple of fillers.

The show starts at 8.00pm, and tickets are £16, which includes a 13% booking fee. It's an all-ages night, with under-14s needing to be accompanied by an adult. If you've got a Lens Studio Student Pass, the show is included in that, so you can get in without paying extra. It's a Friday night, and with three bands on the bill, there's plenty to get through before the night wraps up.
