Women-only event celebrating Portsmouth100 with international food, raffles and a video screening.
100 Dishes - A community celebration is on at Spark Community Space today, Monday 14 September, and it's a women-only event. It's hosted by Spark's Independence & Wellbeing Team and the Cross Cultural Women's Group, and the whole thing is built around women from all walks of life coming together to share their cooking traditions, their recipes and their cultural stories. There'll be food from around the world to eat, raffles to win prizes and a short video screening during the session.
The day is part of Portsmouth100, the city's centenary celebration marking 100 years of Portsmouth. It's a year-long programme running throughout 2026, with live music, fireworks displays and a sculpture trail alongside the usual fixtures of the city's calendar, each given a centenary spin. This particular gathering is one of many taking place across the city as part of that wider celebration.

If you're looking for more to do around town, the city is also promoting an official '100 Things to See and Do' brochure to mark the occasion, so there's plenty to keep you busy beyond this one. The event itself is at Spark Community Space, and as a women-only session, it's a chance to spend the day with other women from across Portsmouth sharing food and stories.
