A free-to-play trivia night hosted by Untapped Trivia at the immersive fantasy-themed tavern and cafe Wonderwood Springs in the St. Johns neighborhood.
Untapped Trivia is hosting its weekly trivia night at Wonderwood Springs on Friday, October 16, from 6 to 8 PM. It's a free-to-play quiz night that's been running across the Portland area since 2016, and it's LGBTQ+ owned. The format runs four rounds of trivia with topics and themes that change every week, so you'll get something different each time you drop in. Prizes go to the top three teams, and those points feed into a venue leaderboard with special rewards at the end of each quarter.
If you haven't been to Wonderwood Springs before, it's a one-of-a-kind spot in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland. It's the creation of Portland artist Mike Bennett: an immersive, fantasy-themed cartoon tavern and cafe filled with hand-painted characters. The menu covers a lot of ground, with savory snacks, sweet treats, sandwiches, grilled cheese, popcorn, Chicago Dogs, and soft serve. There's also an indoor nine-hole miniature golf course, Wonderwood Mini-Golf, right there in the building.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Portland and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Untapped Trivia has a strong local track record, too. It was voted Best Trivia Night in Willamette Week's Best of Portland readers' poll in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and it picked up nominations in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. It's free to play, so you can just show up with a team and get into it. You'll find it at 8811 N Lombard St, in St. Johns, North Portland, on Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
