Indie rock and garage punk performance by Strawberry Fuzz at the Hawthorne Theatre.
Strawberry Fuzz are playing the Hawthorne Theatre on Sunday, November 8, 2026. It's a night of indie rock and garage punk, with the band taking the stage in the Hawthorne Lounge, the smaller room inside the venue.
If you're not familiar with them, that description—indie rock and garage punk—covers the ground they're working in. It's the kind of sound that sits right between the two: the melodic, song-driven side of indie and the raw, loud energy of garage punk. On a Sunday night in Portland, that's a good place to start.

The show is on Sunday, November 8, with the music starting at 8 PM. Doors open an hour before that, at 7 PM, so you've got plenty of time to get in and settle in before they take the stage. It's in the Hawthorne Lounge, which is the more intimate space within the Hawthorne Theatre, rather than the main room. If you've been to the venue before, you know the difference—the Lounge keeps things a bit closer to the stage, which fits a garage punk set better than a big, empty hall would.
