Indie folk artist Squirrel Flower returns to Portland for her first full-band headlining tour in two years, with support from Sour Widows.
Squirrel Flower plays the Aladdin Theater on Wednesday, November 11, her first Portland date in two years. She's a Boston-based indie folk artist, and this stop is part of her first full-band headlining tour since 2024. The night is billed as raw, atmospheric songwriting, and she'll be joined by Sour Widows on support.
If you've followed her work, you know the sound: folk that doesn't stay in one place, often leaning into the atmospheric side of things. This being a full-band tour means you'll hear those songs fleshed out with a rhythm section and more texture than a solo set, and with Sour Widows opening, there's a full evening of music to settle into. It's a mid-week show, so it's one of those nights that asks you to leave work a little early and make a proper event of it.
