Portland Winterhawks vs. Vancouver Giants

The Portland Winterhawks take on the Vancouver Giants at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday, October 28, at 7 PM. It's a WHL regular season game, so it's one of the early matchups of the year with the Winterhawks hosting the Giants right here in the city.

If you're not familiar with the WHL, it's the Western Hockey League, and the Winterhawks are Portland's team. The Giants are coming down from Vancouver, so it's a Pacific Northwest matchup. Regular season games like this are where the standings start to take shape, and since it's a home game, the Coliseum is the place to be if you want to see the Hawks in person.

For those who haven't been to the Coliseum in a while, it's at 1 Center Court, Portland, OR 97208. It's a classic spot for hockey in town, and having the Winterhawks play here means you can catch the action without leaving the city. The game starts at 7 PM, so it's an evening thing—plenty of time to get there, grab a seat, and settle in before the first puck drops.

Tickets are available through TickPick, and since it's a regular season game, it's a good chance to see the team early in the schedule. The Winterhawks are the main feature of the night, and they'll be playing the Vancouver Giants in front of the home crowd. The game is on Wednesday, October 28, at 7 PM at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
