Portland Trail Blazers vs. New Orleans Pelicans

The Portland Trail Blazers take on the New Orleans Pelicans at the Moda Center on Sunday, November 29, 2026. It's a home game for Portland, with the Blazers hosting the Pelicans in the middle of the season. Tip-off is at 3:00 PM, which puts it in that Sunday afternoon slot—the kind of game you can catch and still have your whole evening ahead of you.

For anyone who follows the league, this is one of those matchups that usually comes down to the paint. The Pelicans bring a lot of size and length to the floor, and the Blazers will have to figure out how to play around that. It's a classic West Coast clash, and since it's at the Moda Center, the home crowd should be right there with them. If you've been keeping up with how both teams have started the year, this is one of those games that can shift the momentum of a season.

Because it's a Sunday afternoon game, it's a bit different from the usual night-time NBA experience. You're in your seat by mid-afternoon, and you're out of the arena well before dinner. It's a good one if you've got family around or just prefer a game that doesn't run late into the night. The Moda Center is right in the heart of the city, so it's an easy trip in and out.

So, if you're looking for a way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Portland, here's the deal: the Portland Trail Blazers host the New Orleans Pelicans at the Moda Center on Sunday, November 29, 2026, with tip-off at 3:00 PM.
