Portland Trail Blazers host the Denver Nuggets in an NBA basketball game at the Moda Center.
The Portland Trail Blazers host the Denver Nuggets at the Moda Center on Tuesday, December 15, 2026. It's a regular-season matchup between two Western Conference teams, with the Blazers playing at home in downtown Portland.
For those who follow the league, this is a matchup that usually comes down to the paint. The Nuggets have built their identity around Nikola Jokić, whose passing from the center position changes how every other team has to defend. When he's on the floor, the game tends to slow down, and the offense runs through him. The Blazers will be looking to disrupt that rhythm and find ways to get their own shooters open as the game opens up.
Since it's a home game, the Moda Center will be the place to be if you're in the city that night. It's a Tuesday game, so it's a mid-week stop in the Blazers' schedule rather than a weekend affair. If you've been keeping up with the season, this is one of those games where the standings start to take shape as the calendar turns toward the new year.
