Major League Soccer regular season match between the Portland Timbers and Charlotte FC at Providence Park.
Portland Timbers take on Charlotte FC at Providence Park on Saturday, October 24, at 7:30 PM. It's part of the 2026 MLS regular season, the Timbers' 16th campaign in the league, presented by Toyota.
If you've been following the season, you know it's been a bit of a strange one. The league took a long break from May 25 to July 16 for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which North America hosted. That pause split the regular season in two, so this match comes well after the league got back into its rhythm. By the time the Timbers face Charlotte, the season will be winding down toward the finish.
There's a second race running alongside the league table, too. The Timbers are chasing their seventh Cascadia Cup, the trophy they compete for against Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Seattle Sounders FC. They last claimed it in 2024, and every match counts toward who takes it home this year.

This is one of the final home games of the regular season. Decision Day 2026, the final matchday for every team, is set for Saturday, November 7, so this is one of the last chances to catch the Timbers at Providence Park before the league wraps up. Kickoff is 7:30 PM on Saturday, October 24.
