Concert by French acoustic guitar virtuoso Pierre Bensusan on his The Infinite Guitar Tour 2026.
Pierre Bensusan plays The Old Church Concert Hall on Wednesday, November 18, as part of his The Infinite Guitar Tour 2026. He's a French acoustic guitar virtuoso, vocalist, and composer who's been playing since his first performances in France back in 1974. He's also a pianist, and he taught himself the guitar.
Around the guitar world, he's known as 'Mister DADGAD' and 'The Prince of DADGAD' for his work with that specific open tuning. The accolades follow that: he won the Rose d'Or at the Montreux Festival, was voted Best World Music Guitarist by Guitar Player Magazine readers, and his triple live album Encore took the Grand Prix at the Independent Music Awards. He's sold half a million albums and played thousands of concerts over the years, and his style pulls from traditional, contemporary, jazz, classical, and pop, all played on a multi-shell Lowden guitar.
He's a frequent visitor to The Old Church, and he's built a devoted following among the hall's audiences over the last few years. This is a solo show, with Bensusan as the only name on the bill.
