A 21+ evening at the museum featuring Halloween-themed science demonstrations, planetarium shows, and local vendors with beverages included.
OMSI After Dark: Spirits takes over OMSI on Wednesday, October 28, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's the museum's monthly 21+ night, which means the galleries are open to adults with a drink in hand, and this edition leans into the science of Halloween.
The evening is built around a few different things happening at once. There are science demonstrations throughout the night—a Theremin, "Ghost Bubbles," and a slime cauldron—alongside local artisan food and drink vendors. The museum's renovated Natural Sciences Hall is open, and the night includes planetarium shows and lectures in the Empirical Theater. Two specialty cocktails or mocktails are included with your ticket, so you've got a couple of drinks sorted before you even walk through the door.
