21+ album-release showcase for Noah the Ghost's 'Stay Alive' with Seagardens and Rat Caviar at No Fun, plus the label's first pop-up shop.
Noah the Ghost headlines No Fun on Sunday, October 18, with Seagardens and Rat Caviar opening. It's an album-release showcase for Noah the Ghost's new record, Stay Alive, which comes out on cassette, CD, and streaming through Vague Place Records. The night doubles as the label's first-ever pop-up shop, and all three acts on the bill are on that same local indie label.
Noah the Ghost makes moody, lo-fi tracks that lean into heavier feelings and sociopolitical commentary, mixing folk twang with punk sensibilities. Rat Caviar builds their sound on scream-singing over banjo melodies, and Seagardens is the solo project of the lead vocalist of the gritty power-rock band Loglady, drawing on folk influences. Between the three, the bill pulls from folk, punk, and power-rock, with the label's roster sharing the stage for the release.
