Kristen Ford

Kristen Ford plays the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland on Thursday, October 15, at 7 PM. The show is part of the Folk Alliance FAR WEST Conference 2026, which runs from Thursday the 15th through Sunday the 18th, so this is one of the conference's opening nights.

Ford is an indie rocker from Franklin County, Massachusetts, who studied guitar and recording with June Millington of Fanny at The Institute for the Musical Arts. She's spent years working with other artists from her home region, including Sonya Kitchell, And the Kids, Naia Kete, and Jax Hollow. She's toured over 2,000 shows across 50 states and 10 countries, and signed with Righteous Babe Records in 2023.

Her album Pinto was produced by Grammy winners John Driskell Hopkins and Ani DiFranco. Now based in Sacramento, California, she's bringing this date to Portland as part of the FAR WEST Conference. She also has a record called Sad Sac, which she describes as highly collaborative.

It's a single-bill night with Kristen Ford as the sole performer. The show is at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland, 1000 NE Multnomah St, starting at 7 PM on Thursday, October 15.
