Concert by Knox with special guest Emi Grace at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland.
Knox plays Wonder Ballroom on Saturday, October 24, with Emi Grace opening. It's a full evening of music in Northeast Portland, with the show starting at 8 PM.
If you've been following Knox, you know he's built a huge following on streaming and selling out rooms, and this stop is part of that momentum. The set will lean heavily on his second full-length album, My Midwest Best, released through Atlantic Records. It's a twelve-track record that takes him back to the sound he grew up on: early-2000s pop-punk, emo, and alternative. He describes it as a return to that place both sonically and emotionally, and the songs carry that same energy forward.
That pop-punk and emo influence is where he started, too. He discovered music and decided to pursue it under the weight of those early-2000s sounds, and My Midwest Best is him coming back to those roots with a fresh punch across the twelve tracks. Emi Grace opens the night, so the whole bill stays in that territory.
