Concert by singer-songwriter Jonah Kagen at the Moda Center, with special guest Aaron Rowe.
Jonah Kagen plays the Moda Center on Tuesday, October 27, with Aaron Rowe opening. Kagen is a 23-year-old singer and songwriter from Savannah, Georgia, who picked up the guitar at six, inspired by Andy McKee's finger-style technique. He describes his music as a blend of jazz virtuoso guitar work and festival-ready singalong lyrics, and he cites horror films and hometown ghost lore as influences—a duality he says is reflected in his body ink.
He signed to Arista Records and released his debut EP, georgia got colder, in December 2022. That followed the original single "Broken," which he encouraged fans to co-write via TikTok; the video got millions of views and the song has since gathered over 10.5 million streams across Spotify and Apple Music, drawing acclaim from OnesToWatch. Since then, he's passed 200 million global streams, supported Maisie Peters on a US tour, and made Shazam's 2023 predictions list.
