Country music artist Jess Williamson performs live at the Aladdin Theater, presenting her new album 'A Mile South of Heaven'.
Jess Williamson plays the Aladdin Theater on Wednesday, February 10, 2027, at 8 PM. She's touring her seventh studio album, A Mile South of Heaven, which came out October 9, 2026, on New West Records. This is one of 23 dates on the tour, and the set will center on the new material.
Williamson cut the record at Los Angeles' Sunset Sound studio with producer Shooter Jennings at the helm. The liner notes divide the songs into two sonic worlds: the striver's paradise of Los Angeles, Hum of the City, and the wide-open desert of Marfa, Texas, High Heels and Blue Jeans. The lead single, "Goodbye To All That," was written as her goodbye to Los Angeles, though she says the song itself made her want to stay. The album followed Time Ain't Accidental and three years of reflection.

Beyond her own writing, Williamson is known for her covers. She's recorded Daniel Johnston with Shakey Graves and John Prine with Bahamas, so there's a good chance you'll hear some of that leaning on other songwriters alongside the new songs. The Aladdin Theater is at 3017 SE Milwaukie Ave in Portland, and tickets start at $34.38.
