Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra perform with the Oregon Symphony, blending classic jazz and American Songbook standards.
Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra play the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Thursday, October 15. Goldblum takes the piano and the vocals, and the orchestra is joined by the Oregon Symphony, conducted by Bryan Carter. It's the only night on the tour where the ensemble plays with the symphony, and the arrangements are built for it: a 57-piece orchestra backing the band.
The set mixes contemporary arrangements of classic jazz and American Songbook standards with music from their latest project, Night Blooms. That album came out June 5 on Fontana as a companion to 2025's Still Blooming, which debuted at No. 1 on the Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart. Night Blooms features Charlie Puth, Melody Gardot, Cynthia Erivo and Dodie, and it includes Night Sessions alternate takes with Erivo, Ariana Grande, Scarlett Johansson and Maiya Sykes.
